Bridging the Gap
Between Knowing and Doing
I create practical workbooks for the practitioner ready to turn theory into action. My mission is to help you build a better life, not when conditions are perfect, but when they are most difficult.
A Practical Framework for Change
To build a habit that sticks: M.A.P. it out, S.I.E.R. it in, and P.U.S.H. through.
M.A.P.
Map It Out: Design the Habit
- Minimal: Make the action laughably small. One push-up, one sentence, one breath.
- Attachable: Link it to a reliable, existing part of your day. This becomes your trigger.
- Purpose: Clearly define why this habit matters to you. This is your motivation.
S.I.E.R.
Sier It In: Forge the Habit
- Signal: The specific trigger that starts the habit.
- Intention: The purpose behind your observation.
- Execution: The simple, one-second action.
- Reward: The immediate insight you gain.
P.U.S.H.
Push Back: Overcome Resistance
- Pause: Acknowledge the feeling of resistance without judgment.
- Uncover: Briefly recall your core intention. Why does this matter?
- Shrink: Remind yourself how incredibly small the action is.
- Heed: Turn your focus back to the signal and begin.
A Toolkit for the Practitioner
I'm not a guru on a mountaintop. I am a man in a small Montana city, building a life of purpose despite limitations. My work is dedicated to turning complex strategies into simple, actionable habits.
