About Jacob R. A.
My Mission
My name is Jacob R. A., and I write from Great Falls, Montana. My life has been shaped by the constant negotiation between ambition and adversity. Living with fibromyalgia and severe asthma, I've learned that progress isn't measured in grand leaps, but in small, deliberate steps taken every day. This reality has become the foundation of my philosophy and my work.
For a long time, I found myself in a hole, struggling with my health, my income, and a sense of being stuck. I turned to self-help books, absorbing theories on power, habits, and resilience, yet I found a deep-seated frustration in the gap between knowing and doing. The wisdom on the page felt a world away from the energy I had in the tank. This struggle became my crucible, and also my inspiration. I realized that what people like me needed wasn't another lecture, but a toolkit.
My work is dedicated to bridging that gap. I create practical workbooks designed for the "practitioner"—the person who is tired of reading and ready to act. I focus on turning complex strategies, whether from ancient Stoic philosophy or modern behavioral science, into simple, actionable habits. It’s a mission born from my own necessity: finding ways to build a better life not when conditions are perfect, but when they are most difficult.
